Last weekends warm-up has left the snow sugary on the trails and condition are fair. We had two groomers in the shop for maintenance yesterday and hopefully they will be back out today to smooth the trails out. Riders reported that trail 100 and trail 13 north were in good condition. Advised to steer clear of 1 South as it is extremely bumpy. 8 West out of Ironwood will probably not be groomed. Riders are heading East and South to Watersmeet and also found good snow in Ontonagon. We have snow in the forecast tomorrow and Saturday and cold temps which will help to keep things tight. Snow is also in the forecast for next week.
Lake Gogebic travel is bumpy as the slush that was on the lake has frozen and we need some snow cover to even things out.
Ride safe and think snow*** 🙂
